Tajik Foreign Minister to visit Moscow

AKIPRESS.COM - Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin will make official visit to Moscow on February 24-25 at the invitation of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Foreign Ministry's spokesperson Maria Zaharova said, RIA Novosti reported. "The Tajik Foreign Minister will make official visit to Moscow on February 24-25 at the invitation of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. During the talks the sides will exchange views on relevant issues of international agenda, will review bilateral cooperation built upon principles of strategic partnership and alliances with the emphasis on implementation of the agreements reached during the official visit to the President of Tajikistan to Moscow in April 2019," Maria Zaharova said during a briefing on Thursday.
The talks will address expansion of commercial, economic, cultural, humanitarian cooperation, current situation in Afghanistan, counter-terrorism and counter-narcotics cooperation.
The cooperation program will be signed between the Foreign Ministries for 2020, Maria Zaharova stated.
