Health Minister could not answer how many deaths from influenza registered in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - The Health Minister of Kyrgyzstan Kosmosbek Cholponbayev said that he does not have an exact data on a number of influenza deaths cases reported in Kyrgyzstan during the press-conference in Bishkek on Feb 21. The minister said that he did not take the statistics to the conference.
"This is a new virus. Previously, there were similar viruses as swine flu and bird flu. The symptoms are alike," said minister concerning the coronavirus.
No coronavirus cases registered in Kyrgyzstan so far, the minister added.
