General Prosecutor's Office of Kazakhstan urges Kazakhstanis not to succumb to provocations of Ablyazov

AKIPRESS.COM - The General Prosecutor's Office of Kazakhstan appealed to citizens urging them not to participate in the rallies that are organized reportedly by a fugitive magnate, a leader of the extremist organization Democratic Choice of Kazakhstan, Mukhtar Ablyazov, Sputnik Kazakhstan reported.
The statement warns that the activities of the Democratic Choice of Kazakhstan on the territory of Kazakhstan are recognized illegal and Ablyazov is taking measures to destabilize the situation in the country and calls for violent upheaval, which is against the Constitution.
The General Prosecutor's Office reminded about all crimes of Mukhtar Ablyazov, including those committed in other countries.
"Now a number of lawsuits are filed against him. More than $1 billion have been confiscated today. As part of the criminal case, 8 guilty verdicts were voiced. We continue works on returning of embezzled money and we will try to bring him to the responsibility," the statement says.
In this regard, the General Prosecutor's Office called on the citizens not to succumb to provocations and retain from participation in the illegal protests.
