Flood prevention measures being reinforced in Nur-Sultan

AKIPRESS.COM - A special commission in Nur-Sultan said more than 30 floods might occur on the territory of the city, zakon.kz reported.
In this regard, the flood prevention measures are being reinforced in the city today.
Works on cleaning up canals and drainage systems, expansion and reconstruction of river beds and construction of water regulation dams are ongoing in the capital.
Residents of the private residences are notified about timely cleaning of roofs of houses and other territories.
"The situation in housing estates is under special control," mayor Altai Kulginov said.
Municipal services are working in the reinforced mode to clean and remove snow masses from the city.
