Uzbekistan won't raise retirement age

AKIPRESS.COM - Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance of Uzbekistan Djamshid Kuchkarov on February 22 said the retirement age will not be raised in the country.
The reports on increase of retirement age appeared on social media recently.
"There were no plans to do so," Kuchkarov said.
Chairman of the Pension Fund of Uzbekistan earlier offered three-category retirement age for the citizens.
The first category of pensioners would receive minimum size of pensions, the second would get pension based on the contrubutions to pension. In the third category, a person him/herself would determine the size of contributions to the pension fund.
