New plants to be built in Turkmenistan until 2023

AKIPRESS.COM - A number of new plants will be built in Turkmenistan until 2023, said the Deputy Prime Minister Shamuhammet Durdylyev at the government meeting, the state media report.
According to him, the construction of the second stage of the Baherden and Lebap cement plants is planned in order to increase the capacity cement plants of the state enterprise "Turkmensement" up to 1 million tons of products per year.
In addition, it is planned to build a plant for the production of ceramic tiles and sanitary ware in the Bakherden district of the Akhal region, a plant for the production of 100 tons of glass products per day in the Geoktepe district and a plant for the production of ceramic tableware in Dashoguz.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave instructions to the Deputy Prime Minister to monitor the implementation of the expanded large-scale construction program, the implementation of the plan for the construction of industrial facilities in cities and villages of the country, as well as to take measures to stimulate investment activity in this area.
Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of attracting the opportunities of the private sector of the economy for these purposes, which should increase the efficiency of the entire complex.
