Today is day off for medical institutions of Kyrgyzstan: Health Ministry

AKIPRESS.COM - The medical institutions of Kyrgyzstan do not work today, said the Health Ministry on Feb 24. According to the chief specialist of public health department of Health Ministry Baktygul Ismailova, the Health Ministry works on six-day schedule.
"The decree on shifting the days off in 2020 is irrelevant to the Health Ministry as we work on our own schedule. The doctors took a rest only 1 day from a year beginning on Jan 1. Doctors on duty work in all medical facilities today," she said.
According to the draft decree, Feb 24, which was supposed to be day off because Feb 23 holiday is a weekend day, was postponed to working day on January 2 for workers of public and municipal organizations financed from the national budget that work 5 days a week.
