First documentary about life of Yusup Abdrakhmanov made in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - A documentary film of director Ernest Abdyjaparov tells about the fate of the first Chairman of the Council of People's Commissars of Kyrgyzstan Yusup Abdrakhmanov. According to the director, the screen story was written by a journalist Bakyt Orunbekov.
"He sought for financial support for the film shooting. Kyrgyzfilm was ready to provide technical assistance but said it can not provide any financial support," Abdyjaparov noted.
The film shoot lasted for more than one year. The materials were gathered from the archives of Bishkek, Almaty and Moscow, the director said.
The film was premiered in August 2019 in Kyrgyzstan.
