Bishkek has 2,971 municipal property objects

AKIPRESS.COM - The municipal property department of Bishkek mayor's office held general inventory of municipal property, said the head of the department Nurdin Tynayev at the mayor's office session on Feb 24. According to him, the general register of municipal property was compiled, which includes 2,971 objects. "622 of them were transferred for operational control and use, 94 objects were transferred for privileged use, 213 objects were transferred in terms of commercial use, 636 bus stop shelters and 1,406 housing facilities. The housing facilities included all many-storeyed houses of Bishkek, which were privatized," he said.
Tynayev noted that the work on inventory affected the increasing of lease fees. 507 contracts were concluded through the municipal property department for over 115 million soms by the end of 2019. 16 million soms were collected from debtors through the courts, he added.
