Kazakhstan might suspend air communication with number of countries

AKIPRESS.COM - Kazakhstan is considering a possible suspension or restrictions of air communication with a number of countries, where coronavirus is spreading, Head of the civil aviation committee of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development Talgat Lastayev said at the briefing, Sputnik Kazakhstan reported. Accoring to him, restrictions of flights might be applied to the first category of countries on coronavirus outbreak, which are South Korea and South-East Asia.
A full list of countries will be prepared by the Ministry of Health, he told reporters.
Earlier, a chief sanitary doctor of Kazakhstan issued a decree according to which the first category of countries were considered the countries with more than 10 coronavirus infected people.
At a moment, 893 coronavirus infected are registered in South Korea, 851 - in Japan, 229 - in Italy, 90 - in Singapore, 61 - in Iran, 53 - in the U.S., 35 - in Thailand, 22 - in Australia and Malaysia.
