Uzbek President reshuffles Cabinet of Ministers

AKIPRESS.COM - Deputy Prime Minister - Finance Minister of Uzbekistan Jamshid Kuchkarov has been appointed as Minister of Economy and Industry, Sputnik Uzbekistan said.
He remains as Vice Prime Minister of the country.
Timur Ishmetov became Minister of Finance.
The order was signed by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Ishmetov served as the first Deputy Minister of Finance from May 2019. Prior to that, he worked as the first Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan.
Batyr Khojayev, who was Minister of Economy and Industry since November 2017, was appointed as adviser of Prime Minister on industry and cooperation.
Former adviser of Prime Minister on industry and cooperation Nodir Otajonov retained the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the JSC Uzagrotehsanoatholding.
