Mongolia to close border with Japan

AKIPRESS.COM - Prime Minister of Mongolia Uknaagiin Khurelsukh met with Chairman of the Emergency Situations Commission, Minister of Roads and Transport and Minister of Health on coronavirus situation. Khurelsukh ordered to cancel all flights between Mongolia and Japan and take other measures taking into consideration a number of coronavirus infected people in Japan to prevent coronavirus outbreak in the country.
On February 24, it was established that an employee of the Ministry of Health and a quarantine servant of Japan, who was working in the Diamond Princess cruise ship were diagnosed with coronavirus.
Four others were infected in the Hokkaido and one in Kanagawa. So, the number of coronavirus infected in Japan reached 845 people, including 139 tourists from China and Japan.
