President Tokayev informed about measures on fighting coronavirus

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Minister of Health Yelzhan Birtanov on February 25, Akorda reports. They discussed the current activities of the Ministry and development of healthcare sector.
Birtanov briefed the head of state on measures taken to prevent outbreak of coronavirus in the country.
The talks also focused on the process of preparation for a new code of people's health and the healthcare system.
The Minister told about introduction of the compulsory medical insurance system and implementation of the new state program aimed at modernization of hospitals.
