Nazarbayev orders to refresh activities of Assembly of People of Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Nursultan Nazarbayev received Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan Zhanseit Tuimebayev, the press service of the former President said.
The first President was informed about implementation of plans of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan and its regional representatives.
Nazarbayev at the meeting reminded that the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan was founded in 1995 for protection of rights of all citizens of the multicultural country. Later, the Assembly became a constitutional body, he noted.
The office of the Assembly should be committed first to the analytical work, rather than to holding of the cultural and recreational events, Nazarbayev said.
In this regard, Nazarbayev ordered to hold an audit aimed at further reset in activities of the whole office and the regional representatives of the Assembly.
Tuimebayev told about measures on strengthening of expert and scientific activities of the Assembly and conducting researches in the sphere of interethnic relations.
