Khorgos trade zone closed until end of February

AKIPRESS.COM - Khorgos international center of boundary cooperation on Kazakh-Chinese border will be closed until the special order of the government, zakon.kz reports.
Spokeman of governor of Almaty region Galymurat Zhukel said it is frozen due to the coronavirus situation in China.
The leadership of the region initiated the suspension of the trade zone and appealed to the government.
Prime Minister okayed the proposal to close it until February 15 first, then the period for prolonged until the end of February.
By the order of the regional governor, rehabilitation will be carried out inside the building during this period.
