Turkmen delegation attends GS1 Global Forum 2020 in Brussels

AKIPRESS.COM - GS1 Global Forum took place in Brussels, Belgium on February 17-20. Turkmen delegation headed by the Chairperson of the GS1 branch in Turkmenistan Aykamar Malikguliyeva attended the forum, the state media report.
The global annual event is held with the aim of coordinating organization's strategy, bringing innovation and strengthening the GS1 staff around the world.
The agenda of the forum included plenary and regional sessions, meetings of representatives of the GS1's Global Office divisions and national organizations, meetings of working groups and training seminars, as well as speeches of users of the GS1 system - representatives of major international companies.
At the sessions and meetings within the framework of the forum, the participants discussed the expansion of digital transformation opportunities and exchanged views on the Global Data Model and its future.
GS1 is a not-for-profit organization that develops and maintains global standards for business communication.
GS1's Turkmenistan branch was established in 2014. In 2015, the organization assigned to Turkmenistan barcodes starting with the national prefix (code) 483.
