Tokayev pledges to continue supporting Kazakh mass media

AKIPRESS.COM - Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received member of the National Council of Public Trust Mikhail Dorofeyev, zakon.kz reported.
The head of state got acquainted with the situation in the domestic information space.
The sides touched the issues of increasing competitiveness of mass media, effective implementation of the state information order and protection of rights of journalists.
Drofeyev thanked the President for decriminalization of the article of the criminal code on defamation.
The President said the government will continue supporting Kazakhstani media.
