Kyrgyzstani in Italy says Italians are avoiding close contact with Asians over coronavirus

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstani living in Italy shot a couple of videos about how Italians started avoiding coming closer to Asians over the coronavirus outbreak in Italy.
Bolot Abdykadyrov said that he has been living with his family in Italy for over 15 years, but he has never faced any problems because of his Asian race.
However, latest events related to the spread of coronavirus in the world have affected his life and life of his family.
"I was upset when people started avoiding us over coronavirus," he said.
One of his videos went viral on social media.
Italy has confirmed 322 cases of the virus, the Italian civil protection agency said Tuesday. That's the highest number of coronavirus infections outside Asia.
The cases are heavily concentrated in the region of Lombardy where 212 infections have been confirmed. The authorities said Tuesday evening that 11 people have so far died from the virus in the country.
