Coronavirus situation is worsening — Ministry of Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Chief sanitary doctor of Kazakhstan Zhandarbek Bekshin said the situation on coronavirus infection is deteriorating in the world, Liter.kz reported.
Growth of coronavirus infection reached to 16%, he noted.
According to Bekshin, the situation becomes worse in many countries, while the situation in China is stabilizing.
Therefore, the WHO Secretary General said the world will probably face a pandemic, he said.
Coronavirus has spread in Europe, Australia. Bekshin said that the cargo transportation in Kazakhstan was suspended. The Chinese side is also taking measures, he noted.
The doctor said Kazakhstan is monitoring citizens arriving from China twice a day. As of February 25, 165 people are hospitalized in the country, 162 were discharged. Three people remain under monitoring.
