Bishkek to host Immortal Regiment march on May 9

AKIPRESS.COM - Bishkek hosted Feb 24 an expanded session of working commission on holding the Immortal Regiment march on May 9 in Bishkek.
The commission discussed the organizational issues and outlined the responsibility for each member of the commission involved in the campaign. The working commission developed and approved an action plan for the preparations to celebrate the 75th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War.
The route of Immortal Regiment marching was determined. The march will start at 10:00 am from the intersection of Baitik-Baatyr and Masaliyev streets. Then participants of the campaign will march with portraits of their grandparents and great-grandparents along the Frunze street up to the Victory Square. The total length of the route will be 6.6 km.
The march is held annually to celebrate the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
