Mongolian civil servants banned to leave capital until March 30

AKIPRESS.COM - Mayor of Ulaanbaatar Amarsaikhan Sainbuyan on February 23 announced about ban of the civil servants to leave abroad and travel across Mongolia for personal or business purposes until March 30. The state bodies were ordered to bring to administrative responsibility those violating rules. To leave the capital, a civil servant needs to get a permission.
The decision to impose ban on travel outside the capital and abroad was taken by the emergency situations service of the country at the session on February 26.
Citizens arriving to Mongolia from countries with the biggest coronavirus outbreak, for example, from South Korea, Japan and Italy, will be quarantined for 14 days. Air communication between Mongolia and Japan is suspended from February 28 to March 11.
