Government allocated 41.3 million soms for coronavirus prevention

AKIPRESS.COM - Additional funds were allocated at the requests of the corresponding agencies to prevent coronavirus outbreak in Kyrgyzstan, said the Deputy Finance Minister Ulukbek Karmyshakov in response to MP Ziyadin Jamaldinov's question during the parliament hearing on the coronavirus situation in Kyrgyzstan on Feb 26.
The Finance Ministry has possibilities to fulfill other requests, he said.
Previously, 30 million soms were allocated to the Health Ministry and 11.3 million soms to the Emergencies Ministry, Karmyshakov added.
On Feb 21, the Health Minister Kosmosbek Cholponbayev said the government allocated 250 million soms to the Health Ministry.
