Turkmen women to receive $3 each on occasion of International Women's Day

AKIPRESS.COM - The President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed the Vice Prime Minister for economy and finance Gadyrgeldi Mushshikov to present women of Turkmenistan financial aid in the amount of 60 manats or approximately $3 on official rate on occasion of International Women's Day, during the parliament meeting on Feb 27. According to the local media, the financial aid will be provided to those women who work and study, as well as to pensioners and benefits recipients. Girls who do not attend kindergartens and unemployed women who did not receive the child allowances will not receive the financial aid as the organizations issuing the salaries, allowances or pensions allocate funds for them from the budget.
