Kindergartens in Kazakhstan to continue functioning as normally – Minister

AKIPRESS.COM - Kindergartens will continue functioning as normally in Kazakhstan, Minister of Education and Science Askhat Aimagambetov said, Sputnik Kazakhstan reported.
It was announced earlier today that the school break will start since March 16 and will last until April 5 over coronavirus threat.
University students will switch to distance learning since March 16.
"As for kindergartens, coronavirus was not registered in Kazakhstan, this is why kindergartens will continue functioning as usually. The respective decisions will be made in case coronavirus is registered," Minister Askhat Aimagambetov told a press conference.
In case coronavirus is registered in Kazakhstan until the end of the school break, schools will also switch over to distance learning, the Minister said.
