WHO: Europe new epicenter of COVID-19 pandemic

AKIPRESS.COM - The World Health Organization has provided an update on the coronavirus outbreak during a briefing today. They are reporting more cases on a daily bases on the continent, than any other country apart from China.
WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said, "Europe has now become the epicentre of the pandemic with more reported cases and deaths than the rest of the world combined, apart from China."
"More cases are now being reported every day than were reported in China at the height of its epidemic," he said.
Over 132,000 are reported to have been infected in 123 countries. The death toll reached 5,000
