Uzbekistan freezes air communication with France, Spain and UK

AKIPRESS.COM - Uzbekistan on March 14 suspended air communication with France, Spain and the UK over coronavirus situation. The same decision was applied to China, South Korea, Italy and Iran.
To ban flights to the first three countries was decided by special republican commission on preparation of measures on prevention of coronavirus outbreaks in Uzbekistan, the State Tourism Committee said.
From March 14 Uzbekistan also launches restrictions at the checkpoints for citizens of China, South Korea, Italy, Iran, France and Spain and people without citizenship permanently living in these countries.
Restrictions are not applied to:
- to owners of diplomatic and service passports;
- to citizens of the aforementioned countries, who did not visit these countries over the past 14 days before traveling to Uzbekistan.
