Government of Kyrgyzstan has only 2 planes – Civil Aviation Agency

AKIPRESS.COM - There are only 19 aircraft in Kyrgyzstan, except for helicopters, Head of the Civil Aviation Agency Kurmanbek Akyshev said at the parliament session.
Only two of them belong to the government - Yak-40 and Tu-154, he said.
Parliament members reviewed the draft law on joining of Kyrgyzstan the Cape Town Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment and the Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment on Matters Specific to Aircraft Equipment signed on November 16.
The parliament told that the Convention is aimed at protection of creditors and aircraft lessors by creation of international regime of providing guarantees that are recognized by all states joining the document.
Akyshev said there is one government airline - Air Kyrgyzstan, which has no an operator certificate.
