Kyrgyzstani partook in conference in Canada participants of which tested positive for coronavirus – Health Ministry

AKIPRESS.COM - A citizen of Kyrgyzstan, who returned to Kyrgyzstan from Toronto (Canada), has a fever, the republican office on prevention of outbreaks of coronavirus on the territory of Kyrgyzstan reported. The Ministry of Health on March 14 said that the man flew by Canada - Istanbul - Bishkek flight on March 6. The arrival took part in the international conference in Toronto.
The citizen after arrival to Kyrgyzstan was told by organizers of the conference that among participants of the event in Toronto were coronavirus infected people.
Ambulance with a group of specialists was sent to the house of the man, the Ministry said.
At a moment, the citizen is hospitalized in the national infectious diseases hospital in Bishkek.
His condition is satisfactory. Analyses for coronavirus were sent for laboratory on March 13 at 6:40 pm, according to the Ministry.
