Citizens wanting to avoid coronavirus quarantine reportedly must pay $150 fee in Turkmenistan

AKIPRESS.COM - A fee for avoiding quarantine has been introduced at the airport of Turkmenabat where all international flights are directed to combat coronavirus outbreak in Turkmenistan, Chronicles of Turkmenistan reports.
A fee of $100-$150 or 2,000-3,000 manats must be paid to a police officer or a healthcare practitioner to be able to go home instead of being quarantined.
The screening of passengers from inbound flights is quite lengthy taking 4 to 6 hours, which includes measuring the temperature.
