Over 1,600 quarantined in hospitals of Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Some 1,641 people have been quarantined in hospitals and 981 people are under home quarantine. Nine COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in total so far, the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan said on Facebook.
The Kazakh authorities are monitoring the citizens of Kazakhstan arriving from China and the neighboring countries.
2,123 people remain under monitoring now.
129 people were taken to hospitals with high temperature and acute respiratory viral infection, 65 of them were discharged. 73 still remain in hospitals.
All necessary measures are adopted, including isolation, treatment and disinfection. The situation is under control, the Ministry of Health said.
