Smuggling of 1,900,000 face masks foiled in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan has cracked down on the smuggling of 1,900,000 face masks, Deputy Prime Minister Altynay Omurbekova said at a March 17 coronavirus briefing. The detention was carried out by financial police officers.
A court decision is expected today, she said.
Government temporary banned export of medicines and medical products, including face masks, from February 3, 2020.
