AKIPRESS.COM - "I think the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan will make a statement today [on suspension of Friday prayers]. The talks are ongoing," Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Altynai Omurbekova said today at the government briefing pointing on possible ban on Jumah prayers.
Omurbekova reminded that the Council of Ulema on March 16 banned mass events in mosques except for Friday prayers.
The Council of Ulemas earlier told that it bans mass religious events in the mosques of the country except for Jumah prayers.
