AKIPRESS.COM - To date, World Health Organization declared public health emergency around the world. We all knew that this situation will emerge in Kyrgyzstan, too, said WHO Country Office Director Nazira Artykova at briefing in Bishkek on March 18. According to her, WHO trained over 100 infectious disease specialists in Kyrgyzstan, as well as 20 laboratory specialists in Bishkek and Osh cities. 2 laboratories will operate in Bishkek, one in Osh and 2 mobile laboratories operate, too.
"We work in cooperation with all partners. We have response plan. We launched the training of medical specialists and today we begun the electronic training of doctors. We will conduct training with all journalists across the country. The media in Italy and Spain train people how to behave in emergency situation, in quarantine and stores," she said.
