Presidents of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan discuss efforts to contain COVID-19

AKIPRESS.COM - The Presidents of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan today discussed the coronavirus situation and informed each other about the efforts made to contain COVID-19.
President Mirziyoyev expressed support to the resolute actions of Kazakh authorities, saying these actions are timely and justified.
The Presidents reached agreement on top-level cooperation and coordination of actions between the two countries.
The Presidents found it necessary to continue further strengthening of cooperation in commercial, economic, humanitarian spheres.
35 COVID-19 cases were registered in Kazakhstan and 15 in Uzbekistan so far.
