Kyrgyz government to quarantine over 100 pilgrims returning from Umrah tomorrow

AKIPRESS.COM - Over 100 will return to Kyrgyzstan tomorrow after Umrah, Deputy Health Minister Tolo Isakov told a press briefing today. When asked by reporters how national health care system will handle such a terrible amount of possible patients, the Deputy Health Minister responded: "This is not a terrible figure. It will be terrible if all 100 are infected."
"They are not infected, they are healthy. They are citizens of Kyrgyzstan. We will take their samples for tests. All of them will be quarantined," the Deputy Health Minister said.
