Smuggling of 4,000 face masks from Kyrgyzstan to Kazakhstan foiled

AKIPRESS.COM - Border guards at the Ak-Tilek Road checkpoint foiled an attempt to smuggle face masks from Kyrgyzstan to Kazakhstan March 22, the State Border Service said.
A 25-year-old Kyrgyz citizen was detained after he behaved nervously during passport check.
During the inspection of his hand luggage, the border guards found 4,000 medical masks without accompanying documents wrapped in paper and taped.
Kyrgyzstan banned export of drugs, medical supplies, including face masks, for six months.
