Kyrgyz citizen from Diamond Princess cruise ship discharged from quarantine in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - A young man from Kyrgyzstan, who was on board of the Diamond Princess cruise ship in Japan, was discharged from hospital after 14-day quarantine, the Ministry of Health said today. The man tested negative for coronavirus.
He arrived in Kyrgyzstan in the morning of March 9. He was placed under observation after arrival and his samples were taken for tests. He was quarantined for 14 days.
According to the Ministry of Health, the young man was taken to the military hospital in Tokyo on February 15, where he was held until February 29.
His samples taken on February 26 were positive for COVID-19, the Foreign Ministry said.
