Foklore group of older women returning to Kyrgyzstan after being stranded in Turkey

AKIPRESS.COM - The members of the folk group of older women Shair Apalar will arrive today in Kyrgyzstan from Turkey, Turmush reported.
60 women are in Istanbul. They are returning today, group director Janyl Junusova said.
"We headed to Turkey having tourist visas to partake in the event devoted to the Nooruz holiday. We wanted to showcase our cultural values. 80 women traveled to Turkey in total, 20 already returned to Kyrgyzstan. We could not return for a week. We asked the government's assistance and now we are coming back to Kyrgyzstan," the group director said.
