Sewers of Astana Opera sew reusable face masks for Covid-19 prevention

AKIPRESS.COM - Sewers of the State Opera and Ballet Theater Astana Opera are sewing reusable face masks for workers of the Theater.
They plan to sew 2,000 masks before April 5.
The sewers sew masks at home. The fabrics were delivered to their homes. The mask will consist of one cotton fabric layer and 6 layers of medical gauze, the theater's press service said.
More than 200 masks were already distributed among Astana Opera workers, who continue work. They included IT specialists responsible for streaming of performances, security guards and operative team workers.
A part of the masks was handed over to the National Children's Rehabilitation Center.
Kazakhstan has confirmed 79 coronavirus infection cases.
