Health Ministry advises against purchase of hand made face masks

AKIPRESS.COM - The Health Ministry of Kyrgyzstan does not recommend to purchase hand made face masks, Health Ministry spokesperson Ainura Akmatova said. According to her, the government is engaged in talks on the supply of medical face masks from China and is trying to replenish the reserve daily.
"Some citizens and organizations started to sew medical face masks. The Health Ministry did not give any recommendations on the standards for sewing masks," Akmatova said.
To date, Kyrgyzstan has launched the production of medical face masks, she added.
