Samarkand locked down after Tashkent and Bukhara

AKIPRESS.COM - Entry to Samarkand for any kinds of transport (buses, mini-buses and light vehicles) will not be allowed since March 27.
Restrictions will not apply to cargo transportation, local media reported.
Citizens registered in the city, heads of government and law enforcement agencies, health professionals, specialists of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Control Center, other officials will be allowed to enter the city.
Work of the public transport will be stopped since 6.00 am of March 27.
Citizens violating quarantine and city lockdown requirements will face legal consequences.
Uzbekistan so far confirmed 65 COVID-19 cases.
