Government allows foreigners to leave Kyrgyzstan without paperwork

AKIPRESS.COM - Foreign citizens, as well as stateless persons who are in Kyrgyzstan on visa and visa-free basis can leave the country before May 1, 2020 without processing exit visas and presence residence registration. The relevant decree was adopted by the government.
The "green corridor" was set up due to difficulties of foreign citizens and stateless persons with timely departure of Kyrgyzstan related to the introduction of number of restrictive measures in foreign countries, as well as the temporary suspension of flights with various foreign countries over the escalation of the situation with COVID-19.
"Now this issue is resolved. Foreign citizens and stateless persons without visas, those whose the visa-free regime expires or without registration can stay on the territory of Kyrgyzstan and easily leave the country until May 1, 2020," the government said.
