AKIPRESS.COM - The President Sooronbai Jeenbekov discussed the issues in the education sphere under the state of emergency in the country that was introduced to prevent the further spread of coronavirus infection with Education Minister Kanybek Isakov on April 2, the president's office reports.
President noted that this situation should not negatively affect the educational process and the development of the intellectual potential of the younger generation, as well as noted the importance of applying modern digital technologies to ensure full access to education for schoolchildren in all regions of the country.
Jeenbekov recommended the Education Minister to make adequate conclusions proceeded from the requirements for organizing nonstop high-quality educational process during this period.
Isakov reported that the corresponding action plan was developed for the provision of nonstop educational process and all educational institutions of Kyrgyzstan will switch to e-learning from April 8.
The action plan envisages the involvement of over 200 teachers. The video tutorials are currently being prepared. Balastan TV channel will broadcast lessons for the 1-4 grades and lessons for grades 5-11 will be broadcasted by Ilim Bilim channel, he said.
