Kyrgyzstan allowed over 30 Tajik citizens to cross border back home

AKIPRESS.COM - The border in Alai district of Osh region was opened for over 30 citizens of Tajikistan to go back home, said Commandant for Osh city, Kara-Suu and Nookat districts Malik Nurdinov.
They were staying in Kyrgyzstan as migrant workers and were unable to return home due to the closed borders over coronavirus.
"If there will be a lot of citizens of neighboring states willing to leave the country, we will address the Ministry of Internal Affairs and resolve the issue," he said.
Those 30 citizens gathered at the border, therefore it was opened for them.
