120 medical workers catch COVID-19 in Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - 120 medical workers tested positive for coronavirus in Kazakhstan, Chief Sanitary Inspector Aijan Yesmagambetova said, informburo.kz reported.
They included 67 medical workers, who treated coronavirus patients or potential cases.
"One worker is in critical condition. 7% or 9 workers are in serious condition. The remaining 57 workers have mild or no symptoms at all," Aijan Yesmagambetova stated.
On April 1, Aijan Yesmagambetova said COVID-19 positive medical workers were registered in Almaty, Nur-Sultan, Karaganda. Earlier it was reported about medical workers infected with coronavirus in Kyzyl-Orda and Atyrau.
Kazakhstan has so far confirmed 604 cases, including 122 imported cases, 351 cases among close contacts of the confirmed patients, 131 community-acquired cases (the source of the infection is unknown).
