Group of health experts and essential medical supplies arrive in Kazakhstan from China

AKIPRESS.COM - A group of Chinese health professionals arrived in Kazakhstan to support Kazakh medical workers in their fight against COVID-19, the Ministry of Health reported.
The group includes intesive care, infectious diseases control, public health specialists, pulmonologist, nephrologist, and nurses who have experience in treatment of coronavirus patients.
Around 5.5 tons of humanitarian aid including medicines, medical supplies and equipment arrived with Chinese health professionals.
The Chinese delegaiton will spend 15 days in Nur-Sultan, Almaty and Karaganda, where they will visit hospitals and outpatient departments, deliver online trainings for local health profesionals, visit medical schools and public health departments, give a press conference.
Chinese experts will share their experience in COVID-19 fight. Particularly, they will share the Chinese mechanism of COVID-19 prevention and control at national and regional levels, algorith of detection and isolation of close contacts, methods of COVID-19 tests, protocols of treatment and diagnostics, mechanisms of prevention of infection among medical workers.
The methods used to prevent COVID-19, treat coronavirus patients, detect and isolate infected, to make COVID-19 tests are expected to be improved in Kazakhstan with support of Chinese experts.
