AKIPRESS.COM - The first package of government's anti-crisis aid is ineffective, according to Director of the American Chamber of Commerce Zarina Chekirbaeva. "We are waiting for other packages hoping for actions that would really help the business out," she said.
"There must be some clarity, concrete steps to see what is coming to us. In the first package, we saw only delays on payment of loans, but it is not clear how it will work. We need reforms that will allow business to work during quarantine. The quarantine will end, the COVID will be gone, but the business will be crashed," she said.
Chekirbayeva added the delaying payments is like fixing with the tape: the problem is still there, it's just covered with a tape.
Entrepreneurs should be involved in the development of anti-crisis measures to support business, but so far they are not in any working group.
