AKIPRESS.COM - Japan handed over 4 ambulance cars with the relevant equipment for $96,171 to ‘Mountain rescue' public fund, the Japanese embassy reports.
The aid was provided within the Japan's Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects.
The provided ambulance cars will be used by public fund in Bishkek, Karakol and Osh cities. In addition, 2 ambulance cars will be handed over to Kemin and Ak-Suu districts family medicine centers.
Society for the promotion of Japanese diplomacy held training for drivers of the fund and for drivers of ambulances in the Ak-Suy and Kemin districts, where the instructors from Japan briefed on the features of the vehicles and medical equipment.
The official hand over ceremony is planned to be held after the stabilization of the epidemiological situation in the republic.
