Construction of Tuleberdiev Park ongoing in Bishkek

AKIPRESS.COM - Construction of the Cholponbai Tuleberdiev Park is ongoing in the northern part of Bishkek.
The park is 95% complete. The park pathways are covered with asphalt. 120 benches will be set up.
The monument to Cholponbai Tuleberdiev will be erected in the park.
The park will also have a skatedrome.
The hero of the Soviet Union, Cholponbai Tuleberdiev, closed the embrasure of the enemy bunker with his body on 6 August 1942 and with this self-sacrifice allowed capture of a strategic bridgehead for an assault operation by the 6th Army of the Voronezh Front. He was buried with military honors on the Lysaya Gora Mountain in Voronezh region.
