Kyrgyzstan receives 5 artificial pulmonary ventiliation devices in aid

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan received 5 ventilators in humanitarian aid, said the Health Minister Sabirjan Abdikarimov at the parliament meeting on April 15.
According to the minister, the healthcare organization of the country have 649 ventilators in total, including:
- 211 do not operate, 130 ventilators need repair, 77 are beyond repair;
- 438 functional ventilators.
"We send application for 80 ventilators," Abdikarimov said and added that Kyrgyzstan is due to receive 50 ventilators from 'Eric' organization, 10 from UNDP and 3 from UNICEF.
Kyrgyzstan needs 25 more mobile ventilators, he added.
